Massage Therapists

Jason Ardiles

I’m a massage therapist trained in many modalities, from Swedish and Thai massage to specific deep tissue and stretching techniques. I specialize in working with musicians and athletes to treat and prevent injuries, but I enjoy working with all types of people. I was first drawn to bodywork when I was 12 years old and I saw massage give relief to my mother who was struggling with a chronic cough and backache. Since then, I've always had massage therapy in the back of my mind as a career choice, even as I pursued my passion for music.

Gwendolyn Low

I am a massage therapist with over 10 years of experience as a professional bodyworker. I have been doing massage since 2006, when I graduated from the Providence Institute in Tucson, AZ. My training there included Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Prenatal and Sports Massage, as well as some Craniosacral and Zen Shiatsu. I have since learned Advanced Muscle Reconditioning and am a lifelong student of Breema Bodywork. Most recently, I became certified in Sarga Bodywork, deep myofascial therapy utilizing the practitioner's feet - a new modality I am excited to bring into my work.

Bodywork Sessions

Therapeutic Massage

A custom blend ranging from gentle and relaxing to deep and intense. May incorporate techniques from Swedish massage, craniosacral therapy, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, sports massage, Thai massage, and Advanced Muscle Reconditioning, delivered with a smooth and intuitive flow.

Sarga Bodywork

Sarga Bodywork is a slow and graceful barefoot massage modality that delivers therapeutic myofascial and deep tissue work. The Sarga practitioner utilizes a fabric strap fastened to the massage table for stability and to add tensional and gravitational force to specific manual therapy methods. These methods, combined with the broad contact surface of the foot facilitate less restriction and more ease and relaxation in recipients’ bodies.

Release and Restore

Focused treatment work combining Myofascial Release Techniques, myofascial cupping, and heat to stretch and repair connective tissue. Can help your body heal properly from injuries and restore range of motion. 90 minutes is recommended for multiple areas of focus or if you would like to combine this treatment work with a full-body massage.

Prenatal Massage

Prenatal massage is amazing support for your body as it supports a growing life. Helps address the changes your body is going through and alleviate common pregnancy discomforts. Pillows and props are used to create comfortable positioning for your body.

Gentle Touch

Massage for trauma recovery and sensitive individuals. Patient, nurturing, and accepting touch that moves at your own pace can help facilitate your body releasing, processing, and healing from trauma (physical or emotional) and allow your nervous system to settle and perhaps find new and more resilient connections.

Hot Stone Massage

Smoothly polished Basalt stones of various sizes are heated and placed on the body, glided over the skin using oil, and can be used to apply deeper pressure to tight muscles or trigger points. The soothing and penetrating heat, along with the smooth weight of the stones, melts away tension and can be deeply relaxing and restoring to mind and body.
